Support Outreach Service:
Alexandra Neighbourhood House provides one-to-one support for referred
families facing challenges of parenting and family life. Staff assist
parents in developing skills, confidence, natural supports and knowledge
to support them in their journey as parents. For more information

More tools for Your Parenting Toolkit
This has nothing to do with laser levels, hammers or power saws and
everything to do with building strong relationships, effective
encouragement, understanding the behaviour of children, natural
and logical consequences, and effective communication. As parenting
is certainly a challenging profession, adding more tools to your
toolkit makes the job more enjoyable and also more effective. The
group is free and runs 6 to 8 weeks. For more information

Parent-Connect
An ongoing parent support group for parents with children ages 5-12. This
group is held from 7:00–8:30 pm on the 1st Wednesday of each
month in the upstairs meeting room at the White Rock Public Library. We
explore a variety of topics on parenting and family life and we offer
an encouraging and supportive environment. Just drop in and
