current info, dates and times, click on the events tab.Busy Bees : This drop -in for new parents with babies or toddlers runs Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30-noon, September to May. The goal of the program is to provide mutual support for caregivers of pre-school children and to support healthy intellectual, physical and social development of infants and pre-school children. It is an opportunity for new parents to share experiences, gain mutual support and participate in informal educational sessions on infant development and parenting. The program is provided in our Children’s House, which is comprised of three specialized rooms, one for play, one for crafts, and one for storytelling. There is a playground with equipment for large motor play, a sandbox and a playhouse. The mutual support includes sharing of information regarding the development of infants, and dealing with family issues. Community resources are also available. Mother Goose:
This program for children up to 3yrs old and their parents is
delivered in partnership with Semiahmoo Family Place. It is designed
to enhance parent/child interaction, language development and connections

COPEing with Toddler Behaviour: An 8-week program for parents of 12-to 36-month olds. Toddlers are a lot of fun, but their behaviours can also be a challenge! This program is for parents of toddlers who want to nurture a positive relationship with their child, promote positive behaviour, and talk with other parents. Using videos, discussion and skill-building exercises, facilitators guide parents to work together to incorporate positive strategies. Parents are encouraged to try out the different strategies at home between sessions, with each session building on the previous discussions. This program is FREE of charge. A program for parents with children 0-5 years old. A parenting education

This community kitchen offers regular cooking programs for families
with children from birth to school age. Participants gain skills
in cooking and nutritional knowledge to benefit their families.

Family Dinner
and Discussion/Night:
This is a great opportunity for families to join together for a social
evening of activities, learning and a nutritious dinner. The dinners
are held the last Monday of the month at 5:30pm, September through

Staff visit parents in community locations and organize family resource
fairs and other activities to connect with new families and to
